Graduates earn 45 degrees, certificates from Lac Courte Oreilles Ojibwa Community College

About 24.4 percent of the 45 degrees and certificates handed out by Lac Courte Oreilles Ojibwa Community College in 2017-18 were to students in foreign languages, literatures, and linguistics programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the public institution in Hayward conferred 11 certificates in foreign languages, literatures, and linguistics programs.

But the single most popular program was for a certificate in American Indian/Native American languages, literatures, and linguistics. Data shows the school gave out 11 certificates in American Indian/Native American languages, literatures, and linguistics, followed by 10 associate's degrees in registered nursing/registered nurse and 9 associate's degrees in early childhood education and teaching.

The college enrolled 231 students for 2017-18, all of whom were enrolled in undergraduate programs.
