This sprint/mid-distance race is an exhilarating down hill run through the golf course entering the Bayfield County Trail system and the Tri-County Corridor. Spectators will experience the excitement of the race from vantage points on event center grounds and along the trail route. Two new events have been added this year: Weight pulling and the Mutt Run! Come see the real heavy pullers and how fast and hard they can pull. From express to freight, sled dogs in all sizes, big or small, we'll run them all! The Mutt Run is open to dogs all shapes and sizes and your mini-musher! Open to kids 4-8 and 9-12, this will be a single dog, timed, fun mutt race down a 75' straight course. Sleds, harnesses, and a pool of dogs will be available to borrow by any child that wants to participate but doesn't have their own dog.
