FOIA Request to Town of Swiss Regarding New Voter Registrations on November 7, 2024.
In our ongoing efforts to provide comprehensive and accurate news coverage on local governmental affairs, we at Northwoods Reporter have sent a request under the Wisconsin Open Records Law, §19.31 et seq., to the Town of Swiss. The request, dated November 7, 2024, seeks a list of new voters who registered to vote on November 5, 2024.
As a media organization dedicated to holding public institutions accountable and providing transparency to the public, access to such records is essential for us to fulfill our professional responsibilities.
