There were 931 students enrolled in Chetek-Weyerhaeuser Area School District in the 2024-25 school year, 3.3% less than the previous year, according to the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2024-25 school year, 50.4% identified themselves as girls, 49.6% as boys.

Data also shows that most of the students were white, accounting for 92.6% of the Chetek-Weyerhaeuser Area School District total enrollment.

Chetek-Weyerhaeuser Area School District covers five schools within Barron County, with its main office in Chetek.

Among the five schools in the district, Chetek-Weyerhaeuser Roselawn Elementary School recorded the highest enrollment of 429 students in the 2024-25 school year.

Wisconsin ranks 22nd in the U.S. for public education spending, with an annual expenditure of over $16,500 per pupil, totaling $13.8 billion per year.
