Tamarack Health has started a construction project to expand its Ashland Clinic, located on the west side of its campus. The work is scheduled to begin on September 19, 2025, and continue through the summer of 2026.
The current building houses departments such as Primary Care, ENT, Dermatology, Marketing, Accounting, and Human Resources. The expansion will add 28,000 square feet of new space. Plans include the addition of 21 new exam rooms and 10 provider offices to support primary care services. The project also involves remodeling the ENT and Human Resources departments.
During the first phase of construction, Entrance 3—the main hospital entrance off Maple Lane—will be closed. Other entrances from Maple Lane will remain open for access. Patients are advised that parking around the building will be reserved for them only; signage and fencing will indicate available areas. Public transportation, including BART buses, will use Entrance 2 off Beaser Avenue for entry and exit.
"We are looking forward to the completion of this project, as we know construction can be disruptive. By expanding the building's size, we will be able to accommodate more exam and provider rooms, resulting in greater access to quality healthcare," Tamarack Health stated.
The organization apologized for any inconvenience caused by the construction and encouraged patients to check back for updates on progress and changes related to entrances and parking.
