A Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request was sent to the City Of Cumberland on November 7, 2024. The request was made by Northwoods Reporter, a media organization dedicated to providing comprehensive and accurate news coverage on local governmental affairs.
In the request, we asked for a list of new voters who registered to vote on November 5, 2024. This information is crucial for our ongoing reporting efforts surrounding the election process in Wisconsin.

We believe that as members of the media engaged in disseminating information to the public, we are eligible for a fee waiver as media professionals under the Wisconsin Open Records Law.
