FOIA Request to Town of Thornapple Regarding New Voter Registrations on November 7, 2024.
In our continuous efforts to provide comprehensive and accurate news coverage on local governmental affairs, we at Northwoods Reporter have sent a request under the Wisconsin Open Records Law, §19.31 et seq., to the Town of Thornapple. The request, dated November 7, 2024, seeks information about new voter registrations that occurred on November 5, 2024.
As part of our journalistic duties, we believe in holding public institutions accountable and providing transparency to the public. Access to such public records is essential for us to fulfill these responsibilities. We have requested this information preferably in an electronic format for ease of access and analysis.
