There were 2,097 students enrolled in Washburn County school districts in the 2024-25 school year, 3.4% less than the previous year, according to the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction.

The county's data showed that 12th grade had the largest enrollment, with 188 students, while pre-kindergarten saw the smallest, with 99 students.

Countywide, Spooner Area School District welcomed the most students during the 2024-25 school year.
