There were 1,177 students enrolled in Cameron School District in the 2024-25 school year, 0.8% less than the previous year, according to the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2024-25 school year, 50.8% identified themselves as boys, 49.2% as girls.

Data also shows that most of the students were white, accounting for 92.7% of the Cameron School District total enrollment.

Cameron School District covers five schools within Barron County, with its main office in Cameron.

Among the five schools in the district, Cameron Elementary School recorded the highest enrollment of 432 students in the 2024-25 school year.

Wisconsin had a student-to-teacher ratio of 14-to-1 in 2025, lower than the national average of 16-to-1, according to Public School Review.
