There were 280 students enrolled in New Auburn School District in the 2024-25 school year, 2.1% less than the previous year, according to the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction.

Data also shows that most of the students were white, accounting for 90% of the New Auburn School District total enrollment.

New Auburn School District covers three schools within Barron County, with its main office in New Auburn.

Among the three schools in the district, New Auburn Elementary School recorded the highest enrollment of 132 students in the 2024-25 school year.

Wisconsin had a student-to-teacher ratio of 14-to-1 in 2025, lower than the national average of 16-to-1, according to Public School Review.
