There were 924 students enrolled in Cumberland School District in the 2024-25 school year, 3.1% less than the previous year, according to the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2024-25 school year, 53% identified themselves as boys, 47% as girls.

Data also shows that most of the students were white, accounting for 80.4% of the Cumberland School District total enrollment.

Cumberland School District covers four schools within Barron County, with its main office in Cumberland.

Among the four schools in the district, Cumberland Elementary School recorded the highest enrollment of 334 students in the 2024-25 school year.

Wisconsin had a student-to-teacher ratio of 14-to-1 in 2025, lower than the national average of 16-to-1, according to Public School Review.
