Of the 1,099 people living in Frederic in 2019, 48.7 percent (535) were women and 51.3 percent (564) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Northwoods Reporter.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by a ratio of 312-to-266. In the 65 and over age range, there were 151 females and 103 males.
