Of the 767 citizens living in Almena in 2019, 602 were old enough to vote as of Jan. 26, according to U.S. Census Bureau data.

The bureau reported 302 of those people were female and 300 were male.

Data for this story was compiled from the bureau’s American Community Survey. Information from the survey helps to determine how federal and state funds are distributed.
