Of the 454 citizens living in Butternut in 2019, 330 were old enough to vote as of Jan. 26, according to U.S. Census Bureau data.

The bureau reported 158 of those people were female and 172 were male.

Data for this story was compiled from the bureau’s American Community Survey. Information from the survey helps to determine how federal and state funds are distributed.
