The City of Ashland Policing Task Force is holding 4 public forums to discuss policing within the City of Ashland Police Department. Members of the public are encouraged to attend and give public comment. Public comment and concerns can also be submitted via email to policetaskforce@coawi.org
The Ashland Police Task Force came together last year to create a safe, constructive, honest forum for hearing and understanding relevant local concerns with racial justice and law enforcement within the Ashland City and Ashland Police Department, with the desire to improve our community by building bridges across racial lines and between organizations and constituents that do not usually work together.

Wednesday August 11 - 6:30pm - Virtual Meeting via Go To Meeting - Orientation and Presentation about Historical Trauma
Wednesday August 25 - 6:30pm - Ashland Band Shell - Listening Session
Thursday September 9 - 10:00am - Vaughn Public Library - Listening Session
Thursday September 23 - 6:30pm - Bretting Community Center - Listening Session
