Birchwood Area Chamber of Commerce recently issued the following announcement.
Event: Burger Night / American Legion

Time: 10:00 - 10:30 am
American Legion, 504 Stoney Hill Rd, Birchwood, WI 54817, USANow open six days a week, Tuesday through Sunday. Food specials include the Thursday "burger night" that includes the Lucky Seven drawing. The Legion supports the community with donations to the school district (including scholarships), the Fire Department and other worthwhile causes. A color guard represents the Legion at many veteran funerals and participates in local parades. There are currently 159 veteran members and 78 "Friends of the Legion". These are non-veterans that pay an annual 20 dollar membership. Organizations may also join as "Friends"
