WINTER SNOWSHOE HIKE AT THE CONSERVANCY
Date:
Saturday, February 12th, 2022
Time:
1:00 pm - 3:00 pm
Landmark Conservancy has partnered with the Town of Union for a leisurely snowshoe hike in the peaceful winter woods on the trails at the Conservancy. This group hike will be led by Landmark's Community Outreach Coordinator, Sara Norman. We will make stops along the way to highlight unique aspects of the property and to learn more about nature in winter - tree buds, animal tracks, and more. The approximate distance 1.5 miles. In the case of insufficient snow, this will be a winter hike. We will leave the parking lot at 1:00pm and return to the start to warm up by a bonfire with hot beverages and s’mores after the hike! Basic instruction for snowshoeing will be provided at the beginning. Beginners welcome!
Snowshoes can be reserved for free – please indicate during registration.
