Of the 1,844 people living in Washburn in 2020, 51.4 percent (947) were women and 48.6 percent (897) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Northwoods Reporter.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by 13. In the 65 and over age range, there were 230 females and 200 males.
