Of the 1,171 people living in Frederic in 2020, 48 percent (562) were women and 52 percent (609) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Northwoods Reporter.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by 68. In the 65 and over age range, there were 178 females and 128 males.
