Of the 2,235 people living in Chetek in 2020, 50.7 percent (1,134) were women and 49.3 percent (1,101) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Northwoods Reporter.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by 38. In the 65 and over age range, there were 301 females and 252 males.
