HealthPartners today announced that it has named two new leaders of the organization’s finance team.
Kathy Johnson will serve as senior vice president and chief financial officer for the health plan, and Brett Hentges will serve as vice president, accounting and financial reporting for the system.
Johnson has been with the organization for more than two decades, most recently as senior director of financial planning and analysis. She has been instrumental in developing long-range strategic plans, budgets and forecasts. As health plan CFO, she’ll provide financial leadership and direct overall efforts to continually improve the operations and financial results of the health plan.
Hentges is also a long-time HealthPartners leader. He previously served as a director of shared financial services and helped advance the organization’s enterprise resource planning. In his new role, Hentges will ensure timely and accurate accounting and reporting of financial results for the system.
“These experienced leaders will help our organization continue its efforts to make health care simple and more affordable for our patients, members and the community,” said Penny Cermak, HealthPartners executive vice president and chief financial officer.
