Sawyer County had unemployment rate of 6.1% in 2021

Sawyer County recorded an unemployment rate of 6.1% among residents aged 16 and 65 years old in 2021. That’s 505 people out of the 17,813 living in Sawyer County at the time, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The unemployment rate in Sawyer County has increased compared to the 5% registered in 2020.

The percentage of people unemployed in Sawyer County was greater than the statewide unemployment rate of 3.5%.

Everyone who had a job at the time belonged to the civilian labor force.
