Among those endorsed by the party are Trent Staggs for U.S. Senate, Phil Lyman for Utah Governor, and Kenneth Robinson for Iron County Commissioner.
The Iron County Republican Party has expressed its support for Phil Lyman in his gubernatorial bid, emphasizing his victory at the Utah Republican State Convention where he secured 67.54% of delegate support.
Governor Spencer Cox addressed attendees at the 2024 Republican State Convention with remarks that have drawn attention. He suggested that delegates not supporting him may "hate too much," a statement that has sparked discussion among party members.
Participation in the State Convention is open to all; however, voting rights are reserved for registered State Delegates. Credentialing will commence at 7 am on the day of the convention.
