State Delegates in Utah's Congressional District 2 are preparing for a special election to replace Congressman Chris Stewart. The election is scheduled for June 24 at Delta High School.

Credentialing will start at 1 p.m., and the convention is set to begin at 3 p.m. Attendees are advised to arrive early to ensure they are credentialed.

In addition, two debates will be held, providing State Delegates with an opportunity to become more acquainted with the candidates.

"The Iron County Republican Party proudly endorses Phil Lyman for governor," stated a party representative. Phil Lyman emerged as the winner of the Utah Republican State Convention, securing 67.54% support from local delegates.

At the 2024 Republican State Convention, Governor Spencer Cox made remarks about delegates who do not vote for him, suggesting that they "hate too much."

The Iron County Republican Party encourages participation and invites volunteers to assist by filling out a form provided by the party.
