Tamarack Health Ashland Medical Center is set to host a Spring Open House on Thursday, April 24 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. The event will take place at the Surgery & Specialty Services entrance on the north side of the Ashland Medical Center campus. According to a press release, it is designed to present the 13 medical specialties that are offered at the facility.

The open house will allow attendees to learn about obtaining healthcare locally, reducing the need for trips to other locations such as Duluth. Participants will have the opportunity to meet providers and staff and can make appointments during the event for various services provided at the center.

The specialties showcased will include Dermatology, Ear, Nose & Throat (ENT), Gastroenterology, General & Colorectal Surgery, OB/GYN, Ophthalmology, Orthopedics & Sports Medicine, Pain Management, Podiatry, Primary Care, Urology, Weight Management, and Wound Care. According to the press release, "all services welcome new patients, and no referral is needed in most cases."

In addition to the availability of appointments and information, light refreshments will be offered. Visitors can also explore tables and displays featuring insights from healthcare professionals, receiving healthy tips and giveaways from each service.

The event also provides tours of the recently remodeled clinic spaces, led by knowledgeable staff prepared to answer questions.
