On Saturday, Feb. 22, former Solon Springs High School standout Abe Ahlberg’s current college team, the Colorado Mesa Mavericks, lost 5-4 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Northwest Nazarene Nighthawks.

The game took place at Elmore W. Vail Field. This was their fourth matchup against the Nighthawks this season.

The Mavericks’ next game is scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 27 at 2 p.m. at The Diamond at The Bus Bergman Sports Complex against Montana State Billings Yellowjackets.
