University of Wisconsin-Superior issued the following announcement on Oct. 7

This presentation will take the audience on a ghostly journey to some of the scariest places in the Northwoods

The University of Wisconsin-Superior will host Haunted Wisconsin with Chad Lewis on Saturday, October 23, at 7 p.m. in the Yellowjacket Union - Great Room. This event is free and open to the community.

This presentation will take the audience on a ghostly journey to some of the scariest places in the Northwoods. It covers the entire region from a blood-dripping cemetery in Duluth and a haunted mansion in Superior, to phantom creatures prowling the woods, back road creatures lurking in the shadows and UFOs hovering in the sky. In the one-hour event, Lewis will explain how no place in the Northwoods is without its own legend.

For over two decades, Lewis has traveled the world in search of the strange and unusual. From tracking vampires in Transylvania and searching for the elusive monster of Loch Ness to trailing the dangerous Tata Duende through remote villages of Belize and searching for ghosts in Ireland’s haunted castles, Lewis has scoured the earth in search of the paranormal.

Lewis has been featured on the Discovery Channel’s “A Haunting,” William Shatner’s “Weird or What,” ABC’s “Scariest Places on Earth,” “Monsters and Mysteries in America,” along with being a frequent contributor on Ripley’s Believe it or Not Radio.

With a master’s degree in psychology, Lewis has authored more than 20 books on the supernatural and extensively lectures on his findings.
