There were 2,096 students enrolled in Rice Lake Area School District in the 2024-25 school year, 3.7% less than the previous year, according to the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction.

Data also shows that most of the students were white, accounting for 85.2% of the Rice Lake Area School District total enrollment.

Rice Lake Area School District covers six schools within Barron County, with its main office in Rice Lake.

Among the six schools in the district, Rice Lake High School recorded the highest enrollment of 674 students in the 2024-25 school year.

Wisconsin had a student-to-teacher ratio of 14-to-1 in 2025, lower than the national average of 16-to-1, according to Public School Review.
