Ride the renowned ATV forest trails in the Cable & Hayward area and support a great cause! Your $20 donation plus a gift of an unwrapped present or food item will put you on the trail visiting your choice of sponsoring area restaurants, bars, and pit stops, PLUS Saturday evening’s dinner and entry into the party with all the fun activities, great Prizes and LIVE music at Lakewoods.
This great event supports children, families, and individuals in need in Bayfield, Sawyer, and Ashland counties with food, toys, and cash to help make their holidays extra special! The Fun in the Forest Benefit Ride provides for those in need through charitable organizations such as the Local Lions Club, local Toys-4-Tots, CARE, Operation Rudolph, Brick, Ashland Fire Department Toy Drive, Christmas for Kids, and more! Even with 2020 being a difficult year for events, last year there were nearly 250 riders that participated in the event in support of Bayfield, Sawyer, and Ashland Counties! There were hundreds of toys and more than 200 pounds of food donated last year!

Thursday, October 20th 6:00 pm – 10:00 pm
Friday, October 21st 9:00 am – Noon and 6:00 pm – 10:00 pm
Saturday, October 22nd 8:00 am – 9:30 am
Registration Requirements: $20 Donation AND 1+ unwrapped gift and/or food donation (valued at $10+) per person.
100% of the gifts and event proceeds are donated to the Holiday related charitable groups.
FRIDAY
Riders can try a different route and get an early start on their Shirt Run Stamps!
LIVE Music Lakewoods Bar: 8:00 pm
SATURDAY
Breakfast Served: 7:00 am – 11:00 am (20% off for registered participants)
Event Ceremony: 9:30 am in Front of Main Lodge
Ride Departure: 10:00 am from Main Lodge
Chicken Dinner: 4:00 pm – 10:00 pm
Shirt Run Cards: Turn in your cards with 9+ stamps and receive your commemorative t-shirt
LIVE Music: 9:00pm
Over the weekend, we’ll also have our Fun In The Forest T-Shirt Ride for another reason to visit the sponsoring locations as well as holding several cash drawings and raffles with donated prizes.
Your participation includes a special lodging rate at the event headquarters, Lakewoods Resort.
SPONSORSHIP INFORMATION
Participating Sponsor fee is $75.00 per establishment – due no later than October 7, 2022, in order for your name to be listed as a sponsor on the commemorative shirts.
Please spread the word about this event! We know your patrons, family, friends, and members of your communities would love to be involved (either as a donator, rider, or sponsor). The more involvement we have the more we can help those in need! We are also asking everyone to rally in their communities to collect donations and contributions for raffles.
ATV Club Members and Groups: Bring all your members!
The group with the largest representation will receive a special donation to a Holiday Charity of their choice in their local community. We’re spreading holiday cheer to everyone who participates!
