There were 421 students enrolled in Bayfield School District schools in the 2023-24 school year, 1.2% less than the previous year, according to the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2023-24 school year, 51.8% of them were boys, and 48.2% were girls.

Data also shows that most of the students were American Indian, accounting for 66.8% of the Bayfield School District total enrollment.

Among the four schools in the Bayfield School District, Bayfield Elementary School recorded the highest enrollment of 197 students in the 2023-24 school year.
