There were 2,116 students enrolled in Sawyer County school districts in the 2023-24 school year, 1.8% less than the previous year, according to the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction.

The county's data showed that 11th grade had the biggest classes with 197 students, while first grade saw the smallest enrollment that year with just 124 students.

Countywide, Hayward Community School District welcomed the most students during the 2023-24 school year.
