There were 206 students enrolled in Winter School District in the 2024-25 school year, 8.4% less than the previous year, according to the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2024-25 school year, 50.5% identified themselves as boys, 49.5% as girls.

Data also shows that most of the students were white, accounting for 85% of the Winter School District total enrollment.

Winter School District covers three schools within Sawyer County, with its main office in Winter.

Among the three schools in the district, Winter Elementary School recorded the highest enrollment of 93 students in the 2024-25 school year.

Wisconsin had a student-to-teacher ratio of 14-to-1 in 2025, lower than the national average of 16-to-1, according to Public School Review.
