There were 547 students enrolled in Washburn School District in the 2024-25 school year, 4.9% less than the previous year, according to the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2024-25 school year, 51.9% identified themselves as boys, 48.1% as girls.

Data also shows that most of the students were white, accounting for 78.4% of the Washburn School District total enrollment.

Washburn School District covers three schools within Bayfield County, with its main office in Washburn.

Among the three schools in the district, Washburn Elementary School recorded the highest enrollment of 285 students in the 2024-25 school year.
